124 Sportline swaybar conversion
I am considering replacing the sway bars and bushings on my 124. I am wondering If anyone has tried the Sportlines and what they think of them.

There is a great pictorial article on the sportline conversion on a 1987 W124 300E that was prepared by John (JCE).
On the top of the page, click on the "Cars" link, then on the "Sportline Suspension Kit" link.

I have sportline sway bars on my '88 300E. They were inexpensive and well worth the money.
Changing the front bar is a piece of cake, but changing the rear is not a simple or totally safe job unless you have the right equipment and work carefully. The rear suspension has to be significantly lowered in order to snake the old bar out and the new bar in. Good luck, |
