Kinda neat

I stopped at Home Depot after work yesterday to buy materials to make a rear licens plate bracket so I don't have to drill the new plates like the previous owner did. I saw a 300CD turodiesel sitting by itself. Since I drove the Euro yesterday, I had to park next to it. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera. It looked cool seeing the two old diesel MB's parked next to each other. I had noticed that the two cars were turning a few heads.

similar story

cool.

I have a similar story that happened this past tuesday. I was in town heading to Wal-Mart and was passing Publix fixing to make a left turn when I noticed a beautiful black 123 coupe in the parking lot at Publix sitting by itself in the sun with a sunshade in it. I had to quickly turn right from the left turn lane and take a look at it. It turned out to be a 300CD Turbo. Unfortunately I wasn't driving my 300CD at the time (I was driving my truck), nor did I have a camera. I had never seen this car around town before because I would've noticed it, (it turns out the car was from around the Ft. Myers area b/c it had Lee county tags). Anyways, I just had to wait for the owner to come out. He came out in about 5 minutes and I talked to him for less than a minute (he didn't seem interested in chatting), but in the little time I talked with him, I got that it was an 85 model with 122K miles. I wish I had driven my car there that day, so there could have been two of them parked next together, but mine would have looked like an eyesore compared to this one. Man, I really wish I would've had my camera with me.
