Fuel leak by gas tank

I noticed some diesel fuel on my drive way, trace it to the fuel tank " out " line on the right side of the gas tank. Is this hard to change? Anything else I need to do beside just changing that line? Is this something I need to do right away? Any danger? I also found a small leak on my air conditioning line by the power steering reservoir ( the thick hose with special fitting ) is there anyway to patch that up? The line seems to come from compressor to firewall. Thanks a lot...;) This is for 83' 240D

300cd,

I didn't think MB 300CDs had gas tanks. Fuel tanks maybe. LOL

Sure they have gas tanks, more accurately sub atmosphere pressure gas tanks. They're called vacuum resevoirs.;)

I have to deal with a leaky supply hose or strainer o-ring in the SD. Anyone know what size hex is on the strainer?

Thanks,

Thanks Bill, I did my return hose, clean the strainer screen and also change the two short fuel lines on the left. The lines was easy, but I had a hard time taking out the strainer even with the 46mm socket. As for the A/C, I took the A/C upper manifold hose to an air conditioning place and had them made me the new rubber part ( fastlane wants over $200 for that hose ), put it back together, vacuum and recharge. Everything seems to be working fine, total cost 50 bucks.:)
