Pedal play
My accelerator pedal (81 TD Wagon) has a great deal of travel before the it gets any response. The only two places I see that are possibilities for fixing this are the bushings. The first attaches to the firewall and the other is quite small and is atop the cam cover and contacts the swingplate (same plate to which the Bowden cable attaches). There seems to be a lot of play with this small bushing, but the new one I have is the same size as the old one. Any suggestions?
Thanks. |
