Steam Cleaning

I have a 2400 PSI Hotsy - it's actually to strong it sort of takes the concrete away (not giving the desired result).

Ah! Nevermind.
Is that an actual "steam" cleaner, or a pressure washer that sprays hot water(but not actual steam)? Was curious.

Hotsy is a pressure washer that uses (very) hot water - have a steam cleaner that I use on upolstery - that probably would not be effective - tried it once on my BBQ (not effective)

Yah, in that case a genuine steam cleaner, like the ones auto repair shops use to steam clean your engine, might do the job. They put out high pressure steam. Way different than a pressure washer that sprays hot water. They use propane or kerosene flame to heat the water way above the boiling point. Rent one and have your cars lined up and clean your engines at the same time. (and the BBQ)

This is summer time. Your shipment can't be frozen. The bacteria love the hot environment!

have you tried AJAX or Comet? My dad did wonders on our carport with that. Scrub until you cant anymore (then scrub some more :-) and try that pressure washer with the hottest water you can find.

Hope it helps.

Cool PROBLEM SOLVED

Well after purchasing about $40 worth of concrete cleaners nothing really did the job - I asked a concrete contractor and he gave me the $2 tip. After removing the oil from the driveway with any of the forementioned cleaners ( driveway renew worked best from Wal-Mart @ $2.89). We only the area in question with a hose allow water to absorb into area. Buy a 40# bag of quickrete from Lowes ($1.89) powder (wet) area with quickrete - use broom and bursh the same way you grooves are going. remove excess material alllow to dry --- no more stain.
Incredible but also cheap -- should have went to this guy months ago.

THE END (WIFE IS HAPPY)

I have no idea how well this stuff works, if it works on "diesel" oil, or if it's available in your area...

I work for an interstate highway. When we cover grafitti we just mix-up a very watery concrete solution, and use rollers to apply it right over the paint, works great.
