Maryland to Montreal: 300TD Great Ride
I'm not superstitious but I am a little nervous about speaking too highly of my 85 wagon. My brother and I took it from Maryland to Montreal and it drove really really well 75-80 mph the whole way. I just put new accumulators in the week before in addition to a valve adjustment and a new timing chain. I love this car. We lived out of it for a week, camping. I definitely is suited to long highway trips. I was happy to find out that it only lost about a centimeter of oil on the dip-stick. The only down side was that my sister was driving her Jetta TDI that gets 600 miles to the tank. I want a MB CDI.

hey Alec - sounds like a good run .. did you like my home town!?
did you fill diesel in canada , if so where ? |
We had a great time in Montreal. We spent most of our time camping at Parc d'Oka. It was my second time there and I hope to come back soon to see more. I will have to visit when the Jazz Festival is in full swing and maybe for next year's Women's World Cup Championship cycling race. Great city.
The only place I purchased diesel was just outside Parc d'Oka near the Monestary. |
I live near Montréal. A lot of festival during summer. Next week end : Canada Formula 1 Grand Prix in Montréal. Maybe another win for Raikkonnen on McLaren-Mercedes?...Hope Villeneuve will finish the race...
