What's the best way to clean diesel injectors? What solvents, etc.

I don't know what vehicle you have.....but you might look at FASTLANE PARTS here - sometimes they are cheaper to replace. Also do a search on this forum for "injector cleaning" and you will find all the reading you care to indulge in

Thomasspins instructions are excellent except you would be better served to soak them in carburetor cleaner overnight rather than lacquer thinner.
I'm not talking about spray on carburetor cleaner or B12. I'm talking about the old fashioned caustic solution that we used to "boil out" carburetors with. You can get a small container that looks like a paint can and has a tray that lowers into it. Good luck, |
