Fixed steering (wander)...finally

My car would wander a fair amount and compared to other cars I drive, it made me tense. To solve the problem I changed the Centra 16" wheels that had 225 - 50 tires. I went to factory 14" alloys with 185 - 70's. That helped a great deal, but the gearbox was still acting up and so I changed that with one from a junk yard. I was able to "approve of" my gearbox, by first checking for current slop and then checked how much adjustment was used.

Got the parts from SUN VALLEY MERCEDES DISMANTLERS in So Ca. http://www.mercedesdismantlers.com/index.html
They were very helpful and super to deal with. Cost me $140 for the wheels and tires and $150 for the gearbox.
