Rendries,

Do you want to adjust the service brakes or the parking brake?

Do you have drum or disk brakes?

I have drum brakes. I'm trying to get the drums back on the car, after doing a brake job, but need to compress the pads to get them on. I know on some cars there is a nut on the brake for adjusting the tension of the pads. I can't figure it out on this car.

Ryan,

Its been so long since I worked on MB drum brakes, I will have to take a look at one to tell you what to do.

BTW, if you have drum brakes, you don't have pads, those are on disk brakes. Drum brakes have shoes.
