British Columbia bound

It appears that a new job is going to take me to Vancouver BC. My question for you lotus-landers is what type of emmision control test will I have to meet when I register the car in BC? I have an 84 300 turbo diesel. It passed the Ontario smog check with flying colours about 5 months ago. But the test is pretty mickey mouse. You pay $35 and the technician watches the tailpipe for 2 minutes, if it doesn't smoke for more that 5 consecutive seconds at a time, it passes. Does it matter that the old girl is going to be twenty years old, would she be grandfathered? Thanking you in advance.
