Hey, I followed Mr. P.E.Haiges' advice and used the regular wrenches. It turned out Mr. "Frugal" (as Leathermang said)
was right :-)

Well, I have an answer for you guys. NO. You do not need the bent wrenches. Adjusted the valves today with the run of the mill stuff. Got done quick enough to pull all the injectors, disassemble, clean and put it all back together. Piece of cake.

I finished my valve adjustment with the bent wrenches last night. I'm glad I had them because they made the job a lot easier.

Hazet bent wrenches

The two bent wrenches are of identical thickness.
