Steering 84 300SD

When my car is standing still, and I move the stering wheel left or right 5 inches or so, there is a "cluck" noise. Any ideas?

Steering

I forgot to mention that the noise happens BEFORE the wheels move and does not appear to come from anything moving, because the car is standing still and the steering has not yet moved the wheels.
