Hard Plastic Lines

I just broke off one of the Hard plastic Lines that connect to the banjo fitting on the back of the intake manifold. How do you get this back on? I can't seem to get the thing on no matter what i try. I've tried heating and just lots of twisting and pushing. What's the trick?
Thanks, John

I'm afraid the trick is to go to the dealer and buy another one. If the line was brittle enough to break I doubt you'll ever get it properly attached to the banjo bolt without breaking it again. As a temp fix I used a 1" length of small diameter rubber hose that fit snugly over the break and held the hard plastic hose together until I replaced it.
