I'm up to 568K on the 81 240 4sp. The engine was replaced at 290k - but the tranny and rear differential are original.

The 220 would have probably kept going had it not been hit.

1984 300D - 293,000 (73000 mine). perhaps perfect in my eyes only, but the most reliable car i've ever had. we're definitely going to 500,000+. like others have said -- many thanks to
all the generous folks on this forum!

My '84 300D is coming up on 392,000, happily running on WVO most of the time. Getting a trans rebuild at the moment, but will be back at it next week!

The Turtle just turned 409,000 km (253,000 miles),BTW does anyone know what the markings are between 50 & 60 kmh ?

1984 300SD, 302,xxx miles on original engine, trans, half shafts, etc. Daily driver that sees 500 miles per week.

My 82 300sd is a daily driver also, with 240,xxx miles. All original with the exception of a rebuilt transmission. Hope it will last as many miles as yours
