They tell me that the 04 E320CDI I ordered will be available early November , I have not done a factory delivery in 5 years, I was wondering if anyone has done it recently and might have any suggestions? Thanks

Actually, this car may be the best deal in the MB lineup, Pricing has not been released, but my deal is for 500 over dealer cost, not including holdback about 3%, then there is a 5% discount for Euro delivery.The car will be priced less than the E320. I have driven the car in Germany and it is amazing, faster than the E320, I got 47MPG between Frankfurt and Badan Badan at 65MPH, on the way back at 135MPH 25.9 mpg. Made me want to throw rocks at my 210 turbo diesel. Get in line, not alote of availabilty first year.

Is it possible to purchase a CDI directly from Germany? Is this how you negotiated this? Or did you go through a local U.S. dealer and place an order for future delivery when it is available for purchase in the U.S.?
