Air cleaner housing
On my 83 300D: I have only two air cleaner housing mounts (studs and nuts) holding on housing. Is there another, I can see another hole inside the air clearner housing for the 3rd stud, but I dont see where it mounts to on the engine? Is there a bracket missing? thanks

If you're talking about what I think you are... yes there are three places to mount it. It should be mounted with the rubber pads that have a stud out each side, one stud goes into the bracket off the engine and one goes into the air filter housing. The rubber is keep it from shaking and causing things to crack.
