Floormats? The real ones?
My floormats/carpeting are shot. Not the mat itself but the contoured foam backing. It is disintegrating and has been re-glued to the mat several times. Does the aftermarket offer real mats with the contoured foam? All I see is the cheapie over-mats to "protect" my factory carpeting...... Thanks, RT

From what I have seen aftermarket mats cost more than OEM. The new MB mats have an embrodied star on the front mats, and the color match is dead on. Shortly after buying my '83 TD in 2001, I bought MB floormats and the color match was perfect. Any custom cut mats, with an embrodied logo is going to cost alot more than OEM mats. I got mine through Valley Motors in MD. All I did is mention that I saw their ad in the MBCA Star magazine and I got a $20 discount.

I'm seeing a bunch of them still wrapped in plastic on Ebay under parts/mercedes 123. They are the ones with the star emblem in the carpet. They look good to me but I'm not a perfectionist.
