190D Relibability?
 

I'm going to look at an '84 190D 5 speed tonight. Guy has dropped his price to $2,400. Pictures of the body look good, has good tires. Milage is iffy, as the owner states that the odo shows 135k, but says it quit working after bought it, He thinks he put about 5k on it in two years.

My question is, how good are these cars, from a quality standpoint?

Seen nothing to scare me away, even talked to owner of same model with 365k on the odo. I'm going to look at it tonight, might be able to pick it up for $2k.
