Got it!! The trick is to push the bottom tube up into position so it can pivot more (it pivots more up than down bottomming out) then as someone on the forum said; position and pivot both pipes diagonally towards the the corner, not front or side but corner.

I replaced mine while I had the tubo removed. The tube was impossible to pull out, so here's what I did.

1) Drain oil.
2) Drop oil pan.
3) Press pipe and seal upwards and out with 14MM socket, extension, and floor jack.
4) Replace seal onto tube, keeping it in the middle section of tube.
5) Slip the tube back into the hole.
6) Press the seal down into the hole. I carefully used a small flat screwdriver to start the side.

(I also replaced the o-rings and pan gasket.)
