OM601 identification of parts question
 

Howdy,

I have probably obvious question. I do not know what the part is that is mounted on the 601 right above the exhaust manifold. It is connected to the throttle cable through a rod and has an electrical connection. It is made of metal.

What is this part? Is this the cruise control?

Just curious. I couldn't find any reference to it on the CD-ROM.

That's the cruise control actuator.

I expect you are describing the cruise control actuator.
