What model limo? Not a 600, surely, as the M100 beats the pants off any Chevy V8 made.

Must be a custom job.

It'd a 300d which used to have to 3.0 M189 6 cyl engine.

Ah, I see. The link wasn't there when I posted.

I don't think a Benz V8 would fit in there anyway, too tall on the heads.

The Chevy V8 was good, solid, cheap horsepwer in Germany when it first appeared in the 50's. Beat anything anyone made over there hands down, mainly because of the displacement (5.7L vs 3.0L, which was about the biggest available size). True, the 189 had fuel injection and was powerful for a 3.0L six, but a 350 with a Rochester Quadrajet would blow it off the road!

I wonder what the tranny is?

Having spent some time with a W189 the thought of a small block in a 300d is unsettling.
