Check Engine Light turns on dim in rain?
 

Today was the first time I've had my new-to-me '95 E300D out in a "toad floater" of a rain storm. It ran fine, but at some point I saw that the CEL had dimly lit on the dash.

I came through the downpour and drove about another 10 minutes at highway speeds and the light flickered a few times and went out.

Anyone have any ideas or thoughts? For the record I do still have the "belly pan" in place under the engine.
