Can a Leaking AC Suction Hose be fixed? (85 300D)

This is the monster hose that mates both the hi side and low side to the rear of the compressor.

The lowest rice i found was $202.00!!

Since the hose is leaking at the metal to rubber junction, is it possible to get it recrimped?

I have same problem at same spot as yours, and tried many different method to fix (as jw, epoxy etc.) nothing works. Will hold for couple of months and start leaking again. I looked Yellow Page under "hose couplings & fittings" made few calls and for $36 with 15min of waiting I have best hose I ever seen. I consider this was best money spent ever.
