Location of temperature gauge coolant sensor for 1995 E300D ??
 

I haven’t received my service CD’s yet, so I have to ask a rather basic question… Sorry.

I can’t seem to find the coolant temperature sensor that feeds its signal to the water temperature gauge. I’ve looked & looked, but I can’t see it anywhere. Is this one of those Murphy’s Law sort of deals where it’s buried so deep that I have to take half the engine apart to get at it? ;)
