W123 Radiator

Does anyone out there need a radiator for a 123 bodied 300D? I won one off e-bay advertised to fit "All 300D's" but found out after I got it that it was too wide for my W115 by about 3 inches. The seller has agreed to refund my money but does not want the radiator back. It is very clean and had reportedly been flushed and "rodded out". If anyone wants it, e-mail me and I'll let you have it for the cost of shipping. (It's already boxed up and ready to go).

I'd love to have it if it will fit my 1982 300 D. Does it have a radiator cap on it or does it have the outlet for the overflow tank. I need the one that DOES NOT have the radiator cap.

Maybe we can trade something?

Thanks Bill Goodfahrt

Yes it does have a radiator cap and the outlet for the overflow is intact.

Unhappy

I don't think it's the same as mine. Mine doesnt't have a cap... just an outlet off to the side for the separate overflow tank. Thanks anyway.... I'm sure someone can use it.

Taking this a step further...Anyone have a W115 300D radiator? Mine has the overflow tube broken off and the core needs some serious work. It's adequate right now, but it needs attention soon. I'm just hoping I can get off for less than the cost of a re-core.

I have a W115 240D sitting out back that is complete. What did you pay for the one on Ebay? I would like to make a few bux on the part, but want to make sure that the price is fair for a "used" part.

I paid $50.00 for a rebuilt radiator plus shipping. It had been thoroughly cleaned, the core tubes had been cleaned and it had fresh paint on it. It looks almost new.

Hawk, I will sell you that radiator for $25 plus shipping if you still want it. Sorry for not getting back with you sooner. I've been havin email probs at home, and also had a burn accident a few days ago.

300CD, a W114/115 radiator will only fit that chassis due to width. So, if it fits depends on the chassis of your car.
