Diesel in a 4matic.(w124)

Hi to all.

I was just wondering: Has someone ever
replaced a the gas engine on a w124 4matic
with a diesel engine?

Any info welcome.

I don't think it's that easy. The front differential is somehow integrated with the M103 oil pan. It'll only work if an M103 oil pan will bolt up to an OM603 or some other Diesel.
