Well, I got another one!!!!
Yesterday I purchased a 1985 300TDT one owner wagon with 76,904 actual certifable miles ! Bought it from an owner that was "tired" of it. It has all the service records and she drives like a new car! It is Ivory with Palomino interior, seat springs are NOT broken down, it is amazing how nice it is to drive one of these old 123's that is in great shape. First thing I will do is change all fluids and filters. It, of course, has not been driven very much lately and that can be bad, however, it starts and runs like a champ.
Things that need to be done: 1- Re-dye or replace the rear carpets as the sun has turned them the dreaded 'pink". 2 - Re-dye the seats for the same reason (just parts of the seats are effected). 3 - Good cleaning of the paint and wax with quality product. 4 - Other small items (some broken trim pieces in the rear due to sun exposure). Problem - can't get the only key away from SWMBO . I drove the car home and she said "let's go do some errands and let me drive". We take off and she exclames 'Boy, this is nice" - last time I saw the key She loves the car! I am now driving the silver car (Green-go was sold to buy the wagon), she has the wagon out doing her yard sale thing and calling me telling me how much she likes the wagon! The good side of this is she is really pleased with the car and is not upset about ANOTHER Mercedes in the driveway Sorry for such a long post but had to tell someone about the wagon as this was what I wanted back in July when I got into the diesel "wants". Thanks for listening Jerry

I'll be the one to ask... even though I know I shouldn't -- but it's the only way to learn what a nice car like that goes for...

Pics coming soon, hope I can get them to post, should be OK with the instructions posted on the forum.
WannaDiesel - Price on this car? Gonna make you sick - scored this one for $2000 As I mentioned earlier the car has sat in the sun a lot, need all the plastic(?) surrounds around the door windows and the rear side windows. There are some other small heat related items but I can get those from the local U-Pick-Um. Any one have or know where I can get the surrounds? Drove the car to work today (snagged the keys from SWMBO before she got up, beside, I got her Jag fixed yesterday, however, she keeps refering to the wagon as "my wagon" , am I in trouble here?) and it drives so good. It will really be nice when all the cosmetic things are squared away. Thanks for all the help and advice, hope I can return the favor! Jerry
