Parking Brake Release Pull
I broke the parking brake release pull the other day. I'm not too sure how to fix it. There's a wire on the end of it that broke. It looks like the wire was crimped into the end of the pull, so I'm not sure how to replace it. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? I didn't see it on fastlane, so I'm not sure if it's available as a replacement part or not.
Thanks for any help!

I had a broken handle on the 300D and was able to get the whole handle and bracket off of a junker. However the ball or rod that is crimped or fastened in the end of the wire was all ok. Just had to push out the "rod" and push it into the new handle then mounted the new bracket. Did the ball/rod remain in the handle? If so you might be able to crimp a piece of small steel or copper tubing over the two wire ends to get the cable back to one piece.

Well, Phil was able to find the part for me in partsshop & said it was a dealer part. I ordered it from the dealer, $8.10 for a release cable that comes with the knob. I saved on shipping this time by getting it from them.
