Vibrating fuel gauge
All,
While driving in today the fuel gauge began to vibrate while below half tank. The needle vibrates rather quickly from it's current reading to empty and back to it's currunt reading. I searched the theads with no luck at all. Any thoughts out there? 1995 E300D with 175k on it.

mine used to do that when I first bought it. Started working fine after I put a few thousand miles on it.

fuel gauge
I put a quart of ATF in with the last tank, so far, so good
