DslBnz, what happened to that swaybar?

I take it the 300SDL is back on the road. What did it take to fix it?

Yep. She's back in action.;)

Had an independant MB tech take care of installation. I am not as mechanically inclined as to do it myself, plus the amount of time and labor would've caused too much frustration for me.

He replaced the lower balljoints as it needed those, too.

Not bad for < $1,000 altogether.

I plan to drive my diesel another 300K before it needs the engine rebuilt. Then, I'll drive it another 600K, and so forth. I'm looking forward to that 500K mile badge, which I should qualify for in the near future. But then I'll be after the "ever-so-elusive" million kilometers badge.

I am still young, and have a long life to live. I am maturing; slowly, but progressively. So, next time my swaybar breaks, I will attempt the repair myself. Every minute I spend on this forum, my intellect becomes more enhanced.

On the seacost of NH, we had snow the other day. To me it is a foreshadowment of poor quality diesel fuel, salted roads that corrode the undercarriage of my cars, and manic depression.
Summer has passed, and in my area I have been comparing temperatures with Barrow, Fairbanks, and Kodiak AK. It may be a bleak winter, indeed.:(

Have a good weekend, and hope all is well. I appreciate your concern, Sixto.
