Tranny in a 1979 300TD
is it possible that in this model the automatic tranny came from a 115??
when i checked out my transmission, i saw the markings with part number 115 XXX .. and so on.. could it be possible that in 1979, they are still crossing parts from the 115s to the 123s?

Hello Redbaronph123,
The simple answer is yes!, my W123 230TE has many parts with the prefix number 115. But I must admit I have not checked out the number on the trannie, also several spares I am getting for my refit are also marked 115. David |
