Replaced intake manifold gasket and now won't start - 300 SDL

To the august group,

I'm a bit perplexed at the moment. I needed to replace the shutoff valve since I really got tired of popping the hood and hitting the shutoff switch every time I wanted to stop. I pulled the intake manifold and crossover pipe, replaced the shutoff valve and a couple of glow plugs. I put everything back together, torqued it down and the car won't start. I'm getting blow out of the spot where the crossover pipe connects to the turbo, but everything else seems to be OK. I don't see any leaking around the intake manifold gasket. Any ideas? I was wondering if I needed to bang down on the crossover pipe to get a better seat into the turbo, but I'm hesitant to bang too much. Any help greatly appreciated.

- Ted
