Injector pump Replacement
 

Hello All

I replaced the injector pump on my 87 300sdl, now i can't get it started(No fuel to pressure valves. tried bleeding th system by cracking the lines still zipp. On installing the new pump 15 ATDC
with notch in opening.

I'm at wits end please help

Is the pump turning (is the notch moving?)? If you crack the line from the main filter to the IP, is fuel moving? Is the shut-off lever stuck in the down position (happens to my SDL when I futz with the fuel lines)?

Unrelated to no fuel - did you remove the old IP at #1 15 ATDC? Did you turn the engine between pumps?

yes I did remove the old pump at 15 ATDC. and the stop level is in the up pos. I will check and see if the pump is turning. what would cause it not to turn?
