Question FI Read a post and Now can't find

I read a post about MB fuel injection. It was a few months ago I guess. I have searched for a couple of nights, and no luck. It was in the lines of a V8 had a ruff idle and if you could open the throtlle a slight amount it would run smooth. And then the answer. Along with a couple more threads. Need help but i am running out my tries and may have to break down and take it to a shop. 380 SE Cold start 3 or 4 tryes before starting. I thought it should idle above 1000 Rpm. idles to 700-750 below 35F. Hot start is ok not great. Seams to surge a slight amount at 45-60 mph If it where a diesel i would say a couple of injecters are leaking or not holding preasure. Any help please. Thanks
