Basic tools, gallon of oil, gallon of coolant, extension cord, spare windshield wipers, spare fuel filters, spare tire, jack, lugwrench, coveralls, cd changer. Soon I'll have a funnel, veggie tank, pump, filter, and 5 extra gallons veggie go juice.

1-800-4-Mercedes, an ML with whatever I need is only a phone call away. The way I look at it if something beyond what duct tape can fix breaks it is time to call a flat bed.

I'd sure hate to waste the time on a tow for just a plugged filter.

But my filters are always clean and I fill up from the same high volume station. If I was going on a trip I would bring a few spares.
