Price of diesel fuel went up!

Here in the Vancouver Washington area I noticed that the price of diesel fuel went up by about .05/gallon over the last couple of days. It now costs almost as much as unleaded plus.
How much is the diesel fuel in your area?

Diesel prices here in the Vancouver, WA area are $1.61 to $1.79 now.
It's interesting that in the "http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/wohdp/diesel.asp" site, California is listed separately.

Cooty, how do you get a "CFN" card?

Where I get my diesel the price is remarkably stable - I don't think it has changed from $1.79 in nearly a year. This was a blessing in the summer when gasoline prices were up to $2.25 (ha ha!) but just last week gas finally managed to make its way below diesel here; it's $1.69 and I'm still paying $1.79.

So far I'm still ahead... hopefully the price of diesel starts going down too! ;-)

Here in Burlington County NJ, I am buying diesel for a $1.35 at Texaco. It's been this price for quite a while. However with Winter coming, I expect the price to go up.

Here in RI the cheapest is $1.59/gallon. But most places are $1.65+.... Its about even with midgrade gas. Not for long though. I expect it to go over $2/gallon again this winter. RT

Here in Phoenix the cheapest unleaded I've seen recently was a buck fifty. Diesel a buck fifty one.

Winter is approaching, and #2 heating oil will be diverting some of the supply of diesel fuel, hence the price increase.

I was in Oklahoma City OK on MON (17NOV03) and Diesel fuel was 126.9 cents a gallon. I think gas was 129.9 cents a gallon. This was at exit 140 on I40.

We had one station that was cheaper than all the others, $1.45 v. $1.50-$1.68, that all of a sudden raised it to $1.52 Sad to say gas is starting to get cheaper around the Gainesville, Florida area, but I'd still rather pump the wonderful aroma of Diesel anyday! The cheapest gas around I've seen is $1.39, and that same station is asking $1.67 for diesel, good luck..
