We have 30 minutes of Fall here.... we are likely to go from 80 to the 30's in a couple of hours... there is nothing between us and the north pole except a barbed wire fence. The wind just whistles down across the grasslands and blows right over us.

I use old antifreeze to winterize 4 inboard marine engines. I also use it in pressurized 2-1/2 gallon fire extinguishers in my unheated garage.
