One thing I've noticed is that Mr. LarryBible already got this ASE Master Certification.

Congratulations!

Thanks for the thoughts.

Yes, I just got my ASE test scores back yesterday. That's what made me log on so that I could change my signature. Now I just hope that I don't have to actually load my toolbox in the truck and go use it to make a living.

I was excited about the test results because I thought that I had flunked the automatic transmission test. As it turned out my score on it was pretty good. As anyone knows that reads a post of mine that applies to an automatic transmission, I detest them. I don't like driving a car with an a/t, I don't like working on a car with an a/t, and I don't like taking tests about an a/t. So, with that much distaste you might imagine that I would be worried about passing a test about an a/t.

As far as "gory details" they are gory. A lot of water has gone under the career bridge since I stopped posting daily back in August. I am currently unemployed, but have some opportunities coming my way. Not what I really want, but at least opportunities. The good thing is that my kids are doing really well now and everyone is healthy and happy.

A close friend of mine has offered me a job, but it involves moving to Arkansas. That part of Arkansas is really beautiful, but I just don't want to move unless I just can't find anything else.

I am currently occupying myself by jobhunting and working on converting my barn to a larger shop. The barn is a large haybarn. If I end up getting back in the Cattle business I will use round bales, store them outside and won't need a haybarn. This is a radical step down from my ambitious plans for a large new shop, but if it all works out I will have a building with plenty of space and plenty tall enough for a two post lift or two.

Thanks again for the thoughts and comments.

Have a great day,
