I went to them when I needed the injection timing set on my truck following pump replacement. They seemed like a nice group of guys...it wasn't their fault that someone had broken off a necessary part to adjust the timing, making it so they couldn't do it except by ear...

The biggest complaint I had was that they want an arm and a leg to test injectors (I think they wanted like $20 per injector to test the Ford injectors, and I can get brand-new injectors for $25 apiece from other sources)...

I know other people who've been there and have had decent luck, so I'd say it's worth giving them a try, but I don't know what their knowledge level is on M-B's...they're mostly a truck shop.

Hope that helps some...good luck!

Bay Area diesel injection shop???

I have had good success with Pacific Fuel Injection in South San Francisco. Call Gus there. If you drop in on a semi-appointment basis (he is sometimes out of the office and the assistant there is not able to help) he will often test your injectors for a nominal charge, if he isn't busy. His injection pump rebuilds are tops.
A Bosch authorized rebuilder, he drives a 300CD (nonturbo) and thoroughly understands Mercedes diesels.
