Kinda OT- Mercedes-Benz buses
I remember a few years ago here in Houston, the local buses, or Metro buses as us Houstonians call them, used to operate Mercedes-Benz buses as part of their fleet. They were the 40 foot long kind, not articulated-(the kind that bends in the middle) or anything like that. They were clearly MB buses because the tail lights had the ridges in them like the W126 and other MB autos, and the steering wheel had the MB logo on them. They've all been retired except for one that is used for information purposes at local events. But I heard that they were manufactured for Houston only, and were manufactured in Brazil for something like that. Does anybody else remember these buses, or know anything about them, and does anyone know what kind of engine they used and stuff like that?
