I have a 300CD but it has palamino interior. I just got black 560 SEC AMG recaro racing seats, and the back seat buckets and two rear door pannels. I could have gotten the front door pannels, but I think they are too long. I think the rear ones might fit.

So my question is, have any of you guys seen a w123 coupe 280CE 230CE or 300CD with black inteior perferably leather, but MB tex would be fine?

Any leads you guys can give me for black interior?

I have seen a lot of coupes with blue interior, I was thinking maybe I could dye the interior. What do you think?

There are currently two 300CD's on AutoTrader with black interior. Unfortunately they're not parts cars. But at least it tells you they came with black interior. I don't have a link to the cars but they're not that hard to find. There's one that gives extra photos (a dealer) with the interior (which looks to me like real leather). It's the 1985 with some 110k for $12k or $13k.

BTW: How many of those miles on your CD did you put on it? Thats a whole lotta miles compared to mine.

It looks pretty nice. I think that that is MB tex. No diesel came with leather unless it was special ordered so its very rare. Some 280CEs came with leather.

I just wanted some pictures of the interior basically and see if it was possible. I want to find a parts car with the complete interior then I would be set.

I put on about 24,000 miles since I got it. The lady drove it a lot from So Cal to New York or something like that to visit her grand children.

Mine interior is black, very nice with a black 300CD.

Almost $12000, will some one buy it for that price, that's pretty high. $7000 is the highest I saw so far.

I wish my 300CD has a Black interior, and maybe a black paint job.

I guess I could have a black interior in the 300CD if I took the black interior out of the Subaru and somehow made it fit in the 300CD. I don't think that would work, but I sure wish the 300CD seats were as comfortable as the ones in the Subaru

Mine was anthracite/palomino. I sold it to a forum member. I was happy it ended up that way! I wish I could see the car now

Austin, did PG Auto or Silver Star have any black door panels? You could paint the MB Tex panels but I'm not sure how that'd look...

Omegabenz...Yeah, a Diesel with leather is rare...but my 1983 240D has leather...so I don't know how rare it is.

Aaron, I am checking those places. I dont want to dye my own interior. I can get a blue interior pretty easily. Also, did you get my email, I found a complete white w124 interior if you were still looking.

I just changed out my interior 2 years ago from the orginal owner. It was palimino & he bought the all black w/heated seats.
