Ganimal, I like the old school benz, very nice you should get some eurolights i put them on mine and its ridiculous how much newer it made it look. I also have a new grill that i have painted black and will be installing this spring. good luck

Yes I like the looks of it much better as well.

The black insert really makes the chrome stand out.

Very Nice! how does the black paint standup to chipping? did you put a clear coat over the black? thanks

Well I sold that one not long after doing all that stuff to it and got the 83, I swapped the euros onto it and painted its insert. After 5k miles there is only one or two chips. No there isn't any clearcoat over it, it is just a flexible (designed for bumpers) black paint.
