It used to be 35% in the front and it didnt matter in the back however last year (2003) it changed to 35% all around however most independent shops only check the front 2.

Very nice! I am lookin to put 35% on my 190D. 50% is the legal limit here in ohio... > My Sister has 35% on her new accord and she has not been pulled over. I see lots of benz's here with darker than 50 so I bet I'll be safe.

Looks very nice 300SDL. If/when it gets warm again I'll be out in the installing some new metallic tint, I should probably check to see how much I have on the shelf right now though. I had 25% on the front windows and 5% on the back windows of the 84, I might try for 35% on the front of this one if I don't have enough 25% left over but I'll probably still get 5% in back. As they say you can't steal what you can't see, not to mention it takes at least 5X as much force to break the glass.

300SDL,

The tint looks good. I had my '80 300SD done and it is much cooler in the summer sun. I want to get my '87 done too.

The wheels don't impress me, however. I like the originals better. There is too much open area in your wheels to suit me. JMHO

Nice but I'm not sure if it will pass in my area.

I just had mine done too and this is what a 35% rear window only tint looks like overall.

The wheels are off of a 2000 S500. I believe the size is 225 65 R16 ? I did need adapters for them to fit right. I really like how they look however they get dirty within a week of driving so i think i need to upgrade to new breaks that do not leave as much break dust. Got any suggestions? thanks

Looks good. Depends where you are in PA I guess. I have had several of my cars tinted and gottne away with it. I have also been pulled over more than once for it.

REDDOG,
Where in west PA are you?

Window tint

50 miles north of Pitts. Local shops won't inspect with tint. Inspection cops are real sticklers around here.
