I have a '96 E300D and want to install the block heater cable. Is this easy to do? And if so, where is the block heater located on that engine? Where would I get that cable?

I did a search on the forum but could not find any refs to my model.

Please always call Phil at Fastlane first. He has multiple sources for parts, and purchases there support this site. Just because it isn't listed in the Fastlane interface doesn't mean he can't get it.

Oh, and it took me a while to find that post, even though I knew it was there. Your first post said "cable", not "cord." Details, details.
