617 Swap

I'm gonna swap out the seized 617.912 in my newly acquired 81 300D and I'm wondering specifically which engines can be easily swapped.

I would assume any 617 from a 123 chassis? Would this include 617.952 (turbo) or do I need to swap the trans as well to accomodate the turbo?

It seems there are a number of engines from CD's and SD's around here. Ebay lists one now from a seller in Alabama from a 79 CD - that should work?

There is a 79 Turbo 617 at a yard nearby, but some has beaten me to many of the peripherals. Is it safe to assume that if the part numbers match from my NA engine to a turbo that they are swappable? (ex. someone has taken the injectors and the vacuum pump).

Thanks for your help,
Eric
