Dash light rheostat: OK to eliminate?
I have no real need to ever dim my dash lights; on my 75 300D I simply jumped the rheostat. Any reason not to do this? My dash lights are a bit dim, so I wonder whether the rheostat might be to blame.
Thanks! Chris

Won't hurt anything at all to jump or bypass the reostat.

Cool; I didn't think so, just wanted to make sure the rheostat wasn't some sort of voltage-limiting device as well. Hate to burn out bulbs prematurely.
Thanks! Chris
