Apparently 240Ds have an external oil seperator, I'm on the look out for one.

Yes, they do. Shouldn't be a hard item to find in a pick-n-pull.

The only reason I'd go an open filter is as I'm going to be IC'd with a modified KKK turbo. I'm still trying to find a way to keep the stock UFO intake but doesn't seem possible.
