Is it just me or does your car's muffler go up and down...up and down....while idling? (In the cold-start video)

Nice that W123 can handle! That I6 sounds awsome.

it is not you... it is my muffler.. ehehe... unfortunately, i have some rust spots right where the rubber bumpstop of the muffler should be hitting the frame.. hence the vibration up and down....

Is that an alloy head or just a new casting?

It looks like cast iron to me. Makes me want to have my oil cap and PS pump cover painted bright red.

What morons. WOT at no load.

That reminds me of the actions of another member who frequented these boards.

The blowby at the very end is very similar to what I experienced with my 350SD.

Notice the radiator puffing at the end, it blew the headgasket. I bet it's still rebuildable...
