We'll it was nice till Smokey Bear ran out in front of the owner! He hit a bear at about 40 mph and did a little damage. Have a parts car for a hood and fender so no problem there. Will a fan of a 380SEL 81 V8 gas work on the 617 diesel??

I know the fan and clutch from a 230e (or was it a 280?)will fit a 617 so I would say there is a good possibility. Do a search on Fastlane for both parts and see if the same numbers come up.
