if some one wants/needs sedan springs then with a softish ride-i have some springs...they be in the corner of the shop

I will have to study the chart more to give an opinion on that.. but I would guess that one would be looking for the best Combination of large wire size and unloaded height....
If you take a skinny wire that compresses more than the difference in height you gain by choosing the longer one then you are going to be sitting lower in the end ( pun )....
Also, there are different springs listed for different years...
Westkill, what year are you needing info about ? I will list the stock recommended spring for yours also...

Its an 83 TD but I no longer have the SLS so I will need a spring that will keep the back up and not sink so fast. Something heavy duty. MIke

As has been mentioned before... this system shares the load between the springs and the shock system... many systems are not this way.... but it means that you need to also find some type of load carrying system to complement it as much as you can...
